Greg W Levenson

FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Greg W. Levenson is the Founder and Managing Partner of Virtus Vanguard, a Texas-based private investment and stewardship firm focused on essential real-asset systems that support long-term economic stability across Texas and the Southwest.

Raised in West Texas in a multigenerational family rooted in land stewardship, community banking, and military service, Greg’s professional life has centered on strengthening the systems that rural and regional communities depend on — including energy and infrastructure, community banking, working lands, defense and aerospace-adjacent systems, hospitality, and real-asset-intensive development.

Greg also brings a national-security lens to leadership through his service as an Officer in the United States Air National Guard, where he flew F-16 fighter aircraft and conducted combat missions in Iraq.

Over his career, Greg has built and led regional financial institutions, private investment platforms, and operating partnerships across Texas and New Mexico.

In addition to his private-sector leadership, Greg has been actively involved in civic, academic, and philanthropic organizations focused on public safety, higher education, leadership development, and community resilience.
